Payment & Other Options ...

child smiling trip to dentist

We look forward to providing care for your child's oral health. For consultation appointments and  minor dental procedures, payment is required on the day and we accept the following forms of payment:

  • Visa, Mastercard (No additional credit card surcharge)

  • EFTPOS (Direct Debit Cards)

  • Cash

For major procedures performed at hospital locations, private health insurance policies may cover the hospitals' fees in full, in part or not at all, depending on the type of cover you hold and your eligibility.  The anaesthetist for the procedure performed in hospitals, charge their own fees and Medicare partly covers their fees.  Please note that Medicare does not pay towards any dental treatment fees that are carried out under general anaesthesia in a hospital setting.

For the dental procedures performed in hospital day surgeries, the dental treatment plan cost estimate is to be paid in full at least one week prior to the procedure.

For families with financial limitations the following alternative options may be suitable pending your individual circumstances: Parents may be able to access funds through their superannuation. Fees for medical and dental procedures can be paid for through an early release of Superannuation. Interested parents should contact their superannuation provider, check their eligibility and bring the Early Release Superannuation form which our clinicians can assist in completing for you. Alternatively, treatment can be also sought through the government public clinics which offer a variety of dental services for children.
